Italian folk songs and classical sounds
Luna Llena consists of the Italian-Swiss mezzo-soprano Simona Mango and the British rock guitarist Bruce Reynolds, who together create music that is as spirited as it is noble. The duo's speciality is an exciting mixture of Italian folk songs and classical sounds, which also appeals to classical music lovers. Each song is introduced briefly. Look forward to an elegant concert, where your guests can enjoy relaxed moments to warm Mediterranean sounds.
Venues and events
The sound of Luna Llena is especially beautiful in theatres, concert halls, guild rooms and old banquet halls. The duo is ideally suited to accompany tastings of Italian wines and to provide musical accompaniment at banquets. But the Duo is also a good choice for vernissages, company events, anniversary and birthday celebrations. For performances in large modern buildings with poor acoustics or outdoors, the musicians bring their own amplification system for up to 300 people.
The musicians
Simona grew up in Naples, studied classical singing in Rome and continued her education with the world star soprano Luciana Serra. She is active in opera, oratorio and concert. Bruce spent his childhood in Arabia, Central America and the Caribbean and trained in classical guitar with Georges Sergides in London. The encounter between Simona and Bruce led to the duo Luna Llena and thus to an exciting crossover of Neapolitan music, classical influences and Spanish guitar with a shot of flamenco.
