Oldies but Goldies
With great attention to detail and a passion for rhythms, the band knows how to put the audience in the mood with newly arranged and powerfully played cover versions. Enjoy the immortal songs of days gone by; sing and dance into the night.
Who doesn't know them, the classics "Another Brick in the Wall" and "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. David Gilmour's guitar solos are legendary and are considered musical strokes of genius. Where other cover bands capitulate, the two guitarists go all out and deliver. David Gilmour would be delighted. Not only Pink Floyd, but also many other masters of rock music are honoured and celebrated by Rock66. How about Billy Idol, Deep Purple, the Rolling Stones, Status Quo or ZZ Top? Fans of honest rock music will get their money's worth.
Rock66 are the five music lovers Max Hurter (drums), Iain Hart (guitar, vocal), Nik Locher (guitar), Dubi Dubach (bass) and Beat Birrer (keys). The roots of "The Rock66 Band" go back to Baden in 1966. After a long break, the band found each other again in 1985 and has been playing in a new line-up and with the old familiar freshness ever since.
Whether it's a flower power or oldies party, a birthday party, a company event or an open-air festival, Rock 66 manages to bring a lot of momentum to any occasion thanks to its many years of stage experience.
