Wolf the country guitarist

Guitarist Wolf Räbsamen has been performing solo and with his band for many years at company events, private parties, in bars, restaurants and hotels as well as at festivals such as the Country Music Festival at the Schützenhaus Albisgütli, the International Trucker & Country Festival Interlaken, the Schupfart Festival and many other events. Several of his albums and singles have been released on the K-directmusic label. In addition, he hosts the weekly program "Wolf's Country-Rock Saloon" on the country-rock station Radio drift.FM on DAB+ and via the Internet.

The band history

With his son Andy and guitarist Willi, Wolf founded a rock and country band in 2009. After Willi's departure from the band, the father-son duo performed under the name "The Dinosaurs" from 2012. More and more, the sound developed in the direction of US country rock, and the first stage appearances soon followed. In 2014, the country rock band "Wolf & Band" was formed. The quartet was composed of Sepp Manser on guitar, Andy on bass, Wolf as singer and guitarist and alternately Martin D. and Kurt Nyffeler or Luca Wyss on drums. In 2019 Heinz Affolter, one of the most expressive guitarists and composers of the Swiss music scene, took over the position of solo guitar and background vocals instead of Sepp Manser. New on bass is the young virtuoso bassist Yannick Affolter.
