Hot Strings is a formation consisting exclusively of string instruments. As a style the band calls a "chamber music swing jazz". The repertoire includes a distillate of swing jazz, but also valse musette, jazz ballads and blues. The small formation of Hot Strings with Fere Scheidegger and Daniel Solimine entertains your event also as a duo.
Music of the Hot Strings
With one violin, two guitars and a double bass, the band is completely in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli as well as the legendary "Quintette du Hot Club de France".
Hot Strings play almost only original compositions that look like dewy standards. Their musical unity is captivating. Every musician is an excellent soloist and at the same time integrates himself into the compact group sound.
The music of the Hot Strings always remains relaxed and airy and transparent. In the foreground is the fine way of swinging, which comes into its own in the intimate atmosphere of a small pub. The four musicians inspire the listeners with an independent view of standards and creative, amazing arrangements.
