An interdisciplinary trio takes you into the world of contemporary circus. Impressive worlds of sound and images are created between guitar, cello and flowing movements. The trio consists of Carlo Niederhauser on cello, Roman Wiedemar on guitar and flute and the multi-talented Clarissa Matter. The circus acrobat enchants her audience with movements that merge with the music, be it acrobatics, juggling or fire shows.

Interplay of music and acrobatics

At the heart of the performance is a pure passion for sound, body and expression. The original compositions by Roman Wiedemar and Carlo Niederhauser span a wide musical arc and create space for a touching performance. Circus artist Clarissa Matter gives the musical images a physical form. With impressive body control, lightness and a fine sense of humor, she combines dance and acrobatics into a flowing unity.

The people behind the trio

Roman Wiedemar is a versatile musician who appreciates a variety of styles, from flamenco to rock and experimental sounds. Carlo Niederhauser is one of the most influential cellists on the contemporary scene. Clarissa Matter, trained at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, has been delighting audiences with her aerial acrobatics and dance for years. Together they present a musical circus in two parts of 45 minutes each.
