The artist

Valéry Burot grew up in Strasbourg (F), where he studied classical guitar at the Conservatoire National de Strasbourg. He completed his studies at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He learned to sing from lute maker Luc Breton from Morges, who taught him the old European singing and breathing technique.

Valéry Burot works as a freelance musician and performs mainly in Switzerland, France, Germany and Russia. He lives in Switzerland and teaches classical guitar at the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich.
