The traditional meets the new
Their sounds transport listeners to other spheres: The trio "Die Rote Zora", consisting of Christine Lauterburg, Barbara Berger and Natalie Huber, breaks down boundaries, improvises and combines the traditional with the new. The interplay of frequencies and timbres that are deeply rooted in music history and at the same time sound familiar and new offers a unique musical experience.
Jutz, Zäuerli and Rugguserli
The extensive repertoire of the three singers includes Naturjutz from Central Switzerland, Zäuerli and Rugguserli from Appenzell, natural yodeling from Toggenburg, yodeling from Austria, other similar songs from neighboring countries near and far, as well as original compositions and songs.
Versatile performances
Whether walking, sitting on chairs or balancing on beams, in museums, stables, churches or a train station concourse - "Die Rote Zora" knows almost no bounds when it comes to performing. They sing in German, French or Italian - and now and again the trio likes to ask their audience to (voluntarily) sing along.
