A feast for the ears of your guests

In "MarJon" the energetic playing of Argentinean guitarist Jonatan Blaty combines with the warm voice of singer Marianne Keel to form an enchanting musical whole. The charisma and presence of the duo fascinates your guests and creates a cheerful atmosphere at your party or company event. Their repertoire ranges from jazz to rock and pop. The covers sound fresh and groovy and are sometimes performed in two voices. On request the duo can be extended by a percussionist.

The singer and the guitarist

Marianne Keel from Berne studied jazz singing at the University of Music in Basel. She continued her training in Copenhagen with Josefine Cronholm, was trained in composition and arrangement by Araxi Karnusian and attended master classes with Norma Winstone, Jay Clayton, The New York Voices, Maria Schneider and Esperanza Spalding. Marianne Keel teaches singing at the Oberemmental Music School and also directs the youth choir and children's choir there.

Jonatan Blaty, born in Argentina, is a bandoneon player, guitarist, singer and composer. After studying composition at the University of Buenos Aires, he played in the hottest milongas of the Argentine capital. He has toured Europe with various tango formations and has received several UNESCO awards for his contribution to the dialogue between cultures. Since 2011 Jonatan Blaty lives in Bern, where he works in tango projects as well as with local artists such as Lo & Leduc or Sina. He also teaches guitar at the music school Oberemmental.
