Add atmosphere and sparkle to your event with classical music. The professional flautist Kathrin Oplatka plays contemplative, virtuoso and lively flute music; her repertoire ranges from baroque composers (Telemann, Vinci) to works of classical modernism (Debussy).
Solo, duo or quartet
The flautist performs solo, as a duo with piano or other instruments such as percussion, organ, harp, harpsichord, guitar, accordion or a second flute. On request, Kathrin Oplatka also plays in a quartet with violin, viola and cello. The refined music is perfect for wedding celebrations or to frame your aperitif or vernissage. Biography and awards
Kathrin Oplatka spent her childhood in Stockholm, Paris and Moscow. She studied at the Zurich Conservatory, the Freiburg University of Music (Germany) and in Paris with Patrick Gallois. Parallel to her music studies, she completed training in theater pedagogy. A three-time winner of the Kiefer Hablitzel Prize, the flautist is also the recipient of the UBS Prize for Chamber Music. In 2010, she was awarded the Herzogenbuchsee Municipal Culture Prize. In addition to her concert activities, she teaches flute and realizes children's and youth theatre projects.
