Linguistic games with depth
The lyrics of singer-songwriter Ruedi Stuber are full of mischief and self-irony and come across as light-footed. But they are by no means shallow. Stuber loves clever wordplay and offers witty entertainment. Thematically, his repertoire ranges from nonsense to witty philosophical reflections. In addition to a large selection of his own songs, Ruedi Stuber has translated two dozen chansons by Georges Brassens and ten by Michel Bühler into his Solothurn dialect.
The songwriter will be happy to put together a suitable program for your event from his large repertoire.
The award-winning troubadour
Ruedi Stuber was a member of the "Berner Troubadours" for many years. In 2013, he was awarded the Canton of Solothurn Prize for Literature. Ruedi Stuber and his accompanying band, the Silent Majority, have released five CDs.
Playful yet profound, Ruedi Stuber offers his audience a performance that makes them laugh and think.
