Cabaret at its best
Bettina Dieterle and jazz singer and pianist Marianne Racine stand for the best entertainment: topical, funny and clever. The two seasoned stage professionals entertain their guests with musical numbers between jazz, chansons and cabaret. Dieterle's wordplay and Racine's wonderful voice combine to create a performance with great depth and humor. Musically grandiose rounded, linguistically parodistic but with surprising corners and edges.
Political satire or musical program
Betty Dieterle's specialties include political and feminist topics. With a sharp tongue, acting skills, quirky covers and equally quirky original compositions, she leads together with Marianne Racine extremely entertaining through the madness of the 21st century. Not always politically correct, but always topical and refreshing! The biting satire is particularly suitable for women's events and political events. However, the two actresses are adept at performing on almost any stage and are also happy to offer a purely musical set. The artists will be happy to work out a suitable program for your event.
The two artists
Bettina Dieterle has been performing on various stages in Switzerland for many years. She is a trained movement actress and, as a founding member of the legendary women's group Acapickels, is still associated with musical cabaret today. She became known to a larger audience through her roles in the SRF formats "Benissimo", "ManneZimmer", "Fascht e Familie", "Flamingo" and "Café Bâle". She is a director at the Theater Stans, staged operas and operettas, led the dance theater project "Move The Girls", was an editor and writer for the comedy department of SRF and participated as a writer and director in the comedy programs of Michel Gammenthaler, Rolf Schmid, Hutzenlaub & Stäubli and Stéphanie Berger.
Marianne Racine grew up in Sweden. She earned a piano and school music diploma there and trained as a self-taught singer. Since 1984 she has lived in Zurich, where she first performed as a duo with Dennis Armitage and with Jürg Morgenthaler's "JM Rhythm Four". Together with Daniel Schenker, Roland von Flüe, Hugo Helfenstein, David Ruosch Hämi Hämmerli and Alberto Canonico she performed "Rambazamba", the jazz program for children, in the mid-1990s. She collaborated in the groups "Voice Meets Bass", "3 Voices & A Tuba" and "3 Voices & A Bass" and is now conquering the stages and hearts of Switzerland with cabaret artist Bettina Dieterle.
