The alphorn players at your party
Surprise your guests with unexpected sounds from a well-known instrument - the alphorn. As "AlphornFa", four alphorn players and a percussionist from the Emmental celebrate the traditional mountain horn and play both traditional and modern tunes at your party. The band performs in halls, churches and other large rooms as well as outside. The music is especially beautiful because of the echo effect in the mountains and at lakes.
From traditional over slanting to rock
The repertoire of "AlphornFa" is very broad. Traditional alphorn music, which is close to yodelling, belongs to it as well as light music. The band plays well-known melodies from pop, rock and classical music with the limited possibilities of the natural tone series. The use of the "weird" tones leads to surprising cover versions. Another style of "AlphornFa" is jazz with elements of improvisation. An excerpt from the repertoire from traditional to rock:
- Bänklialp (Johann Aregger)
- A nous quatre (Patrick Bielser)
- Heilig (Anton Wicky)
- De Nendaz à Tracouet (Alexandre Jous)
- Triumph March (from "Aida" by Verdi)
- Bad Romance (Lady Gaga)
- The Golden Age (Asteorids Galaxy Tour)
- The Lions Sleep Tonight (Trad.)
